Study On Urban Park Design Based On Prepresentation Of Historical Context

With the development of the city size and the personality of the residents,the construction of modern city park can not only stay in the base on the leisure,fitness and walk,but also be combined with the historical context to embody the idea of culture and ecology,and the historical context not only maintain the physical form of historic relics,it also is significant for the improving of the connotation of the urban culture by using the symbol of elements in the process of the new city construction.This study systematically analyzes the domestic and foreign researches on historical context,including its nature,form and feature.Based on the above conclusions,a basic design procedure is proposed to show how to combine the historical context into the urban park design.Through a real urban park design named Jinhe Park in Harbin,the corresponding design method is verified.This study mainly includes the following parts:Firstly,the definition and connotation of historical context was first given based on quantity of literatures.The significance of combining the historical context with the urban park design is illustrated and the framework of this study is proposed.Secondly,an reasonable analysis of the comprehensive nature contains the primitiveness,times and continuity is explained and investigated.The principle of urban park design considering historical context is provided.Thirdly,a detailed analysis is conducted focusing on the Jinhe Park to illustrate the representation of historical context applying into a real park design.The representation of historical context includes three parts: typical context representation,terrain-referenz and context symbol embedding.Finally,according to the analysis of Jinhe Park design,representation of historical context method is showed in a new-built district of city.Besides,the important role of plant view in park design is analyzed and emphasized,the corresponding principles is also proposed.Results show that theme park decomposition,public area retention,terrain shaping and plant view design are the most important factors of representation of historical context in urban park design.The innovation of this study is try to combine the construction of the new city district with the local cultural history organically.Using the design method of new era to express the design concept of the project.The park design reflects the historical and cultural characteristics,and express skillfully the landscape symbolic language by using the modern design method on this basis.While satisfy people material and spiritual needs,combining with the ecological environment protection policy to plan and design the historical cultural park in the new century.
