Aiming at the issue of the assessment of the structural condition of the urban beam bridges,this study focuses on the key technique of the structural condition evaluation of bridges,taking the Daxin river bridge located in Jinan city as an actual example.The research status of the evaluation of the carrying capacity of bridges are summarized systematically.Some key issues of the reinforcement of beam bridges are discussed in detail,and the development of this technique is described briefly.This study systematically discusses the common diseases of urban beam bridges such as the cracks of concrete beam,the water seepage,the corrosion of steel bar etc.The main influence factors of the above bridge diseases are analyzed in detail.Based on these research works,this study discusses the main diseases of the Daxin river bridge.With the finite element analysis,the design of load test of the Daxin river bridge is implemented optimally.The static and dynamic load test is carried out,and the experiment data are applied to evaluation the structural condition of this bridge.The results show that the effective bearing capacity is insufficient for Daxin river bridge,it is necessary to strengthen the carrying capacity of this bridge.According to the real condition of this bridge,the pasted steel plate is determined as the final reinforcement measure.Therefore,the detailed calculation is given,and the results show that this technique effectively improve the bearing capacity of Daxin river bridge.
