As the process of urbanization in China continues to accelerate,more and more buildings and facilities require space underground.The urban utility tunnel is a type of urban infrastructure in which an underground pipe or line buried underground is laid through an intensive mode.During the resent years,the urban utility tunnels are developed fast in China.And the open-cut method is applied widely in the construction of the urban utility tunnel,where sometimes the urban utility tunnels need go through the city's internal roads,rivers.It is significant to study the deep excavation supporting structure of the urban utility tunnel for keep the safety of surroundings.Based on the study achievements,the deep excavation engineering of the Cross Sihe urban utility tunnel which is located in Jining,Shandong is researched comprehensively by numerical simulation software named Midas GTS.And the main conclusions are shown as follows:(1)According to the document literatures,the design philosophy of deep excavation supporting structure is analyzed,and the research status is summarized.(2)Through the participation of the urban utility tunnel deep excavation engineering located at Jining,the supporting system of deep excavation is studied systematically.(3)According for comparation the results of in-situ monitoring and theoretic calculation with those of numerical analysis,the numerical analysis is validated as an effective way,which can be applied in the urban utility tunnel deep excavation engineering.(4)Applying the numerical simulation software named Midas GTS,the urban utility tunnel deep excavation is simulated and analyzed.For validating the stability of the urban utility tunnel deep excavation,the deformation and the displacement of the protecting structure,the numerical analysis results are analyzed in this paper.
