Along with the progressive improvement of our society,transportation industry and electronic technology have been developing rapidly,with more and more on-board electronic devices,the electronic platforms in automotive industry is becoming more highly integrated,the integration of those technologies are dramatically innovating people’s driving experience.This thesis for system design based on the x86 SoC,to achieve efficient vehicle intelligent cockpit technology and advanced driver assistance system and reduce the overall cost of users.The main contents of this thesis are as follows.1.This thesis investigates the industry status and development trend of vehicle system from both with-in China and abroad,analysis of mainstream vehicle control vendors and major tier-1 suppliers’ solution,explain the advantages and disadvantages of the current intelligent cockpit system,elaborates the key technology in the design,then propose an overall architecture solution of the system design.2.A Research on the hardware architecture and security model of the intelligent cockpit and advanced driver assistance system.Designing the hardware architecture of the onboard computer system which includes the main control system,input/output control system,storage module,display module,surround view four camera solution and etc.the thesis also proposed 360 degree surround view four camera and dual-screen rear seat entertainment display solution.The system delivers the main control computing function for both intelligent cockpit and advanced driver assistance system platform.3.In the overall software solution,it uses virtualization technology to seamless support in-vehicle infotainment system,digital cluster,rear seat entertainment and navigation systems which involve multiple high-definition screen for display and touch interaction,to enhance user experience and reduce system risk level.Finally,this thesis implemented a complete intelligent cockpit and advanced driver assistance system design.Going through the system function enabling and validation,being application prospect and also have good promotion value.
