In view of the wide application of bridges in people's daily life and engineering practice,the design optimization of bridge structure becomes particularly important.The purpose of the bridge structure design is to make bridge structure safe and economical.In the traditional design of bridge structure,designers are required to work according to the design requirements of specific engineering cases and with the help of practical experience,but with the continuous development of the number and scale of bridges,further strict design requirements,this traditional design method has been unable to meet the needs of modern bridge design optimization,as a result,the optimization design of bridge structure has been developed gradually in the world.This paper is based on a series of optimization methods provided by the SiPESC.OPT,and the finite element analysis system of ANSYS and it's parametric modeling for bridge using APDL design language,and then some reasonable optimization methods are employed to optimize the structure of bridges in order to minimize the construction cost.The SiPESC.OPT and ANSYS optimization modules were used to optimize the shape of the cross section of engineering example 1,which verified the practicality and high efficiency of the SiPESC.OPT.In the second engineering example,the model of tianlongshan curved bridge is optimized both in whole and in part to achieve the goal of light weight design.Then,a new optimization strategy is used to optimize the model of a suspension bridge to obtain costeffective design.
