Stern tube bearing plays a very important role in the ship's power system,the normal and safe operation of the water-lubricated bearing is directly related to the safety of the ship.The excellent performance of bearing materials is the prerequisite for ensuring the excellent performance of bearings.There are a lot of research on waterlubricated bearing materials at home and abroad,especially on the friction and wear properties of materials.However,many kinds of water-lubricated bearing materials still rely on foreign technology.It is a great significance to study the performances(physical properties,Tribological properties,and longevity)of various water-lubricated bearing materials for domestic research and develop excellent water lubricated bearing materials.This article take production of Thordon COMPAC bearing materials as the research object,through adjust the temperature of the test lubrication water,combined with the microscopic surface morphology analysis,to explore the impact of temperature on tribological properties,and do the following works:(1)Based on the numerical calculation method,the full-bearing bearing and the test block of the water-lubricated Thordon bearing were numerically simulated.As a result,obtain pressure and film thickness of the lubrication water film at the test speed and load,which was the follow-up test of the article.Research provides basic theoretical support for the follow research.(2)The friction performance of the Thordon COMPAC bearing material under different temperatures was tested,based on the SSB-100 Stern tube bearing test bench.The test results show that the temperature of the lubrication water has a great influence on the friction performance of Thordon COMPAC bearing materials;under same conditions,the friction coefficient of the bearing material shows a trend of decreasing first and then increasing,with the gradual increase of the temperature.60°C is the critical point for the change of the friction coefficient.The effect of the temperature on the friction coefficient of the bearing material is greater than the effect of the load and velocity on the friction coefficient of the material;the vibration of the bearing material tends to decrease significantly with the temperature of the lubrication water increases.(3)The wear performance of the Thordon COMPAC bearing material under different temperatures was tested,based on the SSB-100 Stern tube bearing test bench.The test results show that the wear of the bearing material gradually deteriorates with the increase of the temperature;Combine microscopic analysis and surface topography analysis,the wear mechanism of Thordon COMPAC bearing materials wear mainly to adhesive wear and furrow effect.
