As an important material production department of social and economic development,the construction company's products are residential and public facilities,which are closely related to people's lives and play an indispensable role in the national economic construction.At the same time,as the main business of the construction company,the project has high investment,long construction period and great influence from the natural environment.It has high risks in various operation links.If a certain link occurs,it will eventually be social.The stability and development have adverse effects.After China experienced a leap in economic growth,the number and scale of production projects have also increased.The high profits and high-speed development have attracted many attention.On the one hand,a large number of emerging construction companies have emerged,and the market is highly competitive.Many companies pay too much attention to efficiency,and cases of engineering project failures increase year by year.The small aspects of these failed projects did not meet the company's goals,while the larger aspects occupied and wasted a lot of social resources.On the other hand,a series of policy measures such as “restriction orders” issued by the state,structural reforms on the supply side,and large-scale suspension of PPP projects in 2018 have once again brought the construction industry to a crisis.Therefore,in such a large environment,the establishment of internal control of engineering projects is of great significance to construction companies.This paper uses principal-agent theory,cybernetics,internal control theory and relevant knowledge of internal control of engineering projects in China to fully understand the current status of the five phases of project construction,bidding,construction cost,construction construction and completion acceptance of A construction company project.The status quo and existing problems of the internal control of the project are summarized and found.The main problems of A construction company are concentrated: the process is not standardized in the project decision-making stage,the investigation and review of the candidate units are incomplete,the bidding procedures are not standardized,and the design relies on external third parties.The control of materials procurement and storage management is imperfect,the management system of subcontractors is loose,and the settlement process of project completion is not perfect.In response to the above problems,reasonable optimization suggestions were provided from five phases,such as project project establishment: improving the process of project decision-making stage,investigating and reviewing strict alternative units,standardizing project bidding process,establishing company-level design department,and improving material procurement and Custody system,standardization of subcontractor management system,and improvement of project completion settlement process.Finally,the safeguard measures for optimization suggestions are put forward: improve the human resources policy of the project staff,improve the organizational structure of A construction company,strengthen the communication between the finance department and the construction department,increase the application of BIM software technology in the project,and increase the Supervision of the work of the project,etc.With the aim of this paper,it is possible to expand the specific application of internal control theory in engineering projects,and to draw lessons from the internal control construction of similar construction enterprises in practical work.
