Research On The Sustainable Development Of The Landscape Culture In Qi-Lou District Of Shantou City,Guangdong Province

In 1980,Shantou City was listed as one of the four special economic zones.And then the focus of urban development began to move out.Financial resources were mainly used for the construction of new districts.Qi-Lou District in the city center slowly went into decline.There were such problems as aging infrastructure,declining buildings,aging population and migration of residents in the districts.The decline of Qi-Lou District has almost deprived them of the functions of residence,commerce,social intercourse and culture.As the birthplace of Shantou City,Qi-Lou District of Shantou City is of great importance to the city.In 2016,Shantou’s government started substantive protection of Qi-Lou District.However,in the process of actual protection,the practice of “putting more emphasis on face than lining”-paying attention to the renovation and reconstruction of the buildings along the street,ignoring the overall protection of the district,ignoring the needs of the residents of the district,and endangering the culture of the district.The Landscape Culture is an important part of block culture,and plays a vital role in the continuation of block culture.Therefore,this paper takes Qi-Lou District in Shantou as the research object,studies the formation and characteristics of the Landscape Culture of Qi-Lou District,and puts forward the principles and methods of sustainable development of the Landscape Culture of Qi-Lou District in Shantou,so as to promote the continuity of the block culture.This paper is divided into six parts to study the sustainable development of landscape culture in Qi-Lou District of Shantou City.The first part mainly elaborates the research background,clarifies the purpose and significance of the research,defines the related concepts involved in the paper,combs the relevant theoretical research at home and abroad,and formulates the research methods and framework of the paper.The second part systematically combs the development process of Shantou city and Qi-Lou District,and analyses their historical background and culture.In the third part,the Landscape Culture of Qi-Lou District in Shantou is analyzed one by one from the aspects of block texture,architectural style,street space and public space.The fourth part chooses Beihai city and Wuzhou city of Guangxi province,Xiamen cityand Quanzhou city of Fujian province as the horizontal comparison object of this study,and summarizes the universality of the Landscape Culture of Qi-Lou District and the particularity of the Landscape Culture of Qi-Lou District of Shantou.In the fifth part,according to the particularity and existing problems of the Landscape Culture of Qi-Lou District in Shantou City,the principles and specific measures for its sustainable development are put forward.The sixth part is the design practice,taking some sections of Qi-Lou District in Shantou as an example,to carry out the practice and test of the district landscape design.Through the analysis of the landscape culture of Qi-Lou District in Shantou City,the principle of its sustainable development is put forward.In view of the problems faced by its landscape culture,this paper puts forward specific measures for sustainable development of Qi-Lou District in the aspects of district texture,district architecture,district space.Through the study of sustainable development of the landscape culture of Qi-Lou Distric in Shantou City,the purpose of enhancing the recognition of landscape culture of Qi-Lou Distric in Shantou City,creating city business cards and enhancing the urban culture of Shantou City is achieved.
