Rural Landscape Culture And Its Sustainable Development In Mudanjiang City

There are various and abundant environment characteristics and cultural landscapes in China. Rural area, which has been forming between city and natural land, show us great value and infinite vitality either in ecology or culture. So rural area is actually gene pools of landscape features in China. With the rapid increase of economy, improvement of national life standard and dramatic expansion of urbanization, rural area has lost its feature gradually and rural landscape appears to be fuzzy. Rural landscape culture plays a decisive role in layout of the village, local characteristics and protection of ecology. The design and construction of rural landscape culture is more and more important in improving the human living standard.This paper is about the subject of rural lanscape culture in Mudanjiang City. It is based on either the current development trend of domestic and international rural landscape culture or the frontier theories in practical cases. The methods of literature research, field research, historical research and interview are uesd in this paper to detailed analysis types of local rural landscape culture and its sustainability, laying a foundation to the exploration and effective expression of rural landscape culture of local area during the planning and design of rural landscape. It hopes to protect original rural landscape connotation and regional feature, make it better adapt to the requirement of modern development, and provide a theoretical reference for the advancement of rural landscape.This paper is divided into6chapters, apart from the first two chapters which present the introduction and basic theories for framework; In the third chapter, In the third chapter, survey and analysis have been conducted on the rural landscape types and features of Mudanjiang City; In the fourth chapter,survey and analysis have been conducted on the rural landscape culture types and features of Mudanjiang City; Chpter5makes a detailed description of sustainability of rural landscape culture in Mudanjiang City and offers constructive advice; Chapter6includes a typical project in Xinhe Village as a study case. The attempt is to find how the design theory has guided the practice is another research aim in this chapter.
