Research On The Design Of College Student Apartment Building Space Based On Demand Theory

With the development of the times,the demand pattern of contemporary college studentsis changing.As an important place for college students to live in school,college student apartments not only provide students with a good living space,but also provide a rich environment for communication.Therefore,in the design of student apartments,we should consider the physical and psychological needs of college students and create a more diversified space environment for the healthy development of students.Based on the contemporary background,family background and educational background of contemporary college students,combined with the actual situation of today's school development,this paper uses Maslow's demand theory and SD semantic analysis method,and through field research and investigation of Dalian University of Technology's Beishan Student Apartment.Analyze the external space environment of college student apartments,as well as the living space,communication space and private space inside the student apartments,and understand the functional needs of college students on the basis of demand transformation.This paper starts from the campus planning of college student apartments to the space appeals outside and inside the student apartments,focusing on the external traffic space and communication space of the apartment building,the internal unit living space of the apartment building and the interior transportation space of the apartment,the communication space and the new demand mode.The design of the functional space summarizes the changes in the design of university student apartments based on the transformation of demand patterns,and proposes corresponding design principles.This will provide some new ideas for the design of future college student apartments.
