With the vigorous development of China’s education,the construction of college campuses has also attracted the attention of all sectors of society.In the past two decades,due to the expansion of college enrollment,the construction speed and scale of college campuses have increased day by day.As one of the buildings used by college students for the longest time,with the transformation of college teaching mode and educational concept,higher requirements have been put forward for the design of student apartments,which should not only meet the needs of students’ rest and Diversified use needs such as learning,communication and entertainment,and attention should be paid to its living environment.At present,the design of student apartments in some colleges and universities can not meet the growing needs of students,which not only causes a large waste of energy in Colleges and universities,but also directly affects the quality of students’ life.With the progress of information technology in the new era,BIM Technology brings more development opportunities for the architectural design industry.This thesis studies the optimal design strategy of college student apartments under the guidance of BIM Technology platform,modular design idea of fabricated steel structure buildings and indoor thermal comfort theory.The main research contents are as follows: first,through field research,case data collection,questionnaire survey and field data measurement methods,This thesis analyzes the current situation and demand of college student apartment construction from three aspects: planning layout,functional space and facade modeling,and indoor environment,and summarizes the problems and deficiencies of college student apartment.Secondly,based on the analysis of the sunshine and wind environment of the apartment group,the common apartment layout forms are simulated with the help of Ecotect and Phoenix software respectively,and the layout forms that can improve the outdoor comfort of the apartment are put forward.Thirdly,carry out modular hierarchical division of student apartments.According to the modular characteristics and ergonomic theory,make use of the differences in the number of residents and grades and majors to carry out modular design from the three levels of apartment functional space,facade components and combination mode.Through the single module design of functional space and facade,establish the corresponding module library,and through the diversified combination of single modules,Form a comfortable apartment plane and facade with rich modeling effects.Fourth,using the compatibility of BIM platform,using design builder simulation software,select the plane of student apartment in module combination design as the analysis model,carry out the analysis and optimization design based on indoor thermal comfort,take the proportion of indoor average PMV and thermal discomfort time as the evaluation index,select the design parameters affecting the indoor thermal comfort of apartment,and through the control variable method,from the shape of apartment By comparing the simulation results,a set of thermal comfort optimization design strategy suitable for college students’ apartments in cold areas is summarized.Fifthly,based on the above research results,taking the college student apartment of Jinan Vocational College in Shandong Province as an example,apply the design to the proposed modular hierarchical disassembly,design and combination ideas to improve the indoor space experience and apartment facade modeling effect,and apply the apartment indoor thermal comfort optimization design strategy to the scheme,and verify the effectiveness of the optimization strategy through simulation analysis and comparison.Based on the theoretical research on modular and thermal comfort of prefabricated steel structure college student apartments,and the verification of the theory through practical application,the optimal design strategy of prefabricated steel structure student apartments based on BIM Technology is formed,which has certain reference significance for the popularization and application of BIM Technology and modular design,and plays a guiding role in the indoor thermal comfort optimization of student apartments in cold areas,It also provides reference for the optimal design of student apartments in other climate areas.
