Study Of Elderly-oriented Urban Healthcare Facility Planning

The rapidly increasing aging has put great pressure on existing healthcare system in China,and there is an increasing demand for healthcare because of the declining ADL level and the trend of disability for the elderly.Existing urban healthcare system is dominated by government,but the Regional Health Planning is just a configuration index,there is no proper spatial development framework of guidance,or more relevant construction for the elderly,which makes a great gap between the actual service scope of medical institutions with theory in urban planning for elderly.And inconvenience healthcare affected older adults` healthy development.Hence,facing the severe challenges of an aging society in the future,it is necessary to build an appropriate spatial planning of medical facilities.In view of this,this study explores the appropriate aging of healthcare facility spatial planning from the perspective of sustainable development.In the theoretical part,this study summarizes the theoretical and practical experience of domestic and foreign research,and according to the existing special situation in China,the applicability of theoretical application and research gaps are described in detail.In terms of practice part,the major area of Dalian as an example,what conducts a travel survey statistics of the elderly from 3 aspects: namely,the characteristics of the older adults` behavior,and the healthcare service needs of the elderly population,and the travel accessibility of the elderly.There mainly include three parts according to the proposed problem,evaluation and strategy: First,this paper discusses the urban elderly medical behavior characteristics,including travel features and treatment characteristics from the perspective of environmental behavior,including the physical characteristics,sicken and medical requirements.And in urban elderly travel survey which is found the differences between the actual accessibility and the theoretical accessibility.Secondly,space layout of the situation in view of the medical facilities assessed from the perspective of optimal aging,the concrete measure of elderly population and medical facilities of the coupling relationship between pension and medical facilities matching emergency medical facilities,and summarizes exciting developed problems for healthcare system for aging society.Finally,in view of the status problems to healthcare facilities planning strategy,from the elderly population and medical facilities,pension and medical facilities,and medical facilities,respectively expounds how to establish an ageing society of urban medical service system,how to implement the raise theory and urban endowment institutions for development and cooperation,and how to build optimal aging emergency medical system.
