The construction of urban gardens is in full swing,and the roadside green space is distributed in all places of the city as a recreational venue for the citizens to walk out of the house,but the roadside green space of each city does not have local characteristics.Therefore,regional culture is attracting more and more attention as the main factor to increase the city's uniqueness.As a carrier of regional culture,roadside green space plays an important role in urban development.Therefore,the paper takes the regional culture as the research object,discusses its expression method in the street green space landscape.Firstly,the relevant theoretical knowledge is summarized by consulting literature and collecting data.Secondly,the paper investigates the main regional culture of Lengshuijiang city and its application in the street green space,and proposes the solutions.Thirdly,expounding the expression strategy and principles of regional culture in the street green space,the main research results are as follows:(1)The main regional culture of Lengshuijiang city is: farming culture,humanistic art,folk custom,religious belief based on Meishan culture;Antimony culture and red culture based on industrial culture and so on.(2)the main problems in the expression of regional culture of Lengshuijiang are: the inaccurate theme,the monotonous cultural landscape,the simple method of construction,and the lack of era characteristics etc.Aiming at the above problems,a corresponding solution is put forward: clearing master planning and themes,refining culture symbol;By direction,metaphor,reservation and integration,regional culture is applied to landscape elements such as plant,floor,sketch and facility.As one of the construction projects of the ecology garden city,the street green space should be the combination of virtual and reality,and the combination of technology and tradition.(3)select the street green space case to carry on the innovation transformation design,introducing the region culture element so that the landscape to have the distinct theme and the cultural connotation.Through the study of this topic,the relevant theoretical guidance and practical results are obtained to provide reference and experience for the effective expression of regional culture in the street green space landscape design.
