With the rapid development of the current economy,people's living standard has been improved,and the pursuit of spiritual civilization has been higher.However,the phenomenon of cultural homogenization has become more and more serious in contemporary society.In recent years,people have gradually realized the disadvantages caused by the lack of culture,so it is particularly important to explore the distinctive regional culture.As tourism has gradually become a form of entertainment for modern people,apart from buildings,streets and tourist attractions,the commercial street which enjoys the reputation of "window of the city" can best display the culture of a city.It can even become a landmark of a city.It not only determines the cultural taste of the commercial street,but also plays an important role in continuing the historical context and spiritual connotation of the city.Based on this,from the perspective of regional culture,the local natural environment,cultural characteristics and other contents are combined with the commercial street space to echo the urban style and reflect the urban characteristics.From the perspective of regional culture,this paper studies the commercial street landscape and adopts the research method combining theory with practice.This paper summarizes the research status at home and abroad theoretically,summarizes relevant concepts and contents,and studies the design methods and design elements of excellent commercial street landscape in China.In terms of cultural resources,this paper makes a list of the regional cultural resources of Chongqing,selects the commercial streets in the main urban area that are well known and recognized by people,investigates the application degree of regional cultural resources in its landscape,and analyzes its design content and deficiencies.According to the above content,combining with the reality,the commercial street of Yingjia Wharf in Chongqing city is taken as the design practice object,and the landscape reconstruction is carried out from the perspective of regional culture.It has chosen the natural geographical culture that can show the geomorphologicfeatures of Chongqing,the architectural culture that can show the unique humanistic landscape,the accompanying culture that cannot be copied,the shipping culture with a long history that can reflect the spirit of sailing and forging forward,the food culture represented by hotpot and the language culture of Chongqing.The elements of these cultures are extracted from the material and non-material forms.The natural geological culture takes the natural revetment and beach as the design source,and the images of river sand,pebbles and rocks as the design elements.The unique stilted buildings in Chongqing are selected as the design elements in the architectural culture.Shipping facilities,shipping tools,shipping commodities and people engaged in shipping are selected as design elements in shipping culture.Hotpot and characters' working images are selected as design elements in the food culture.In the secondary capital culture,historical figures and objects in historical scenes are selected as design elements,while in the language culture,language itself is selected as design elements.Finally,it is applied in the square landscape,each landscape node and special design respectively to increase people's visual viewing points and inherit excellent regional culture.In order to provide reference for the application of regional culture in commercial street landscape in the future.
