Dryer is a wide spread machine for drying cloth in family.The traditional drum dryer use R134 a as working fluid.But this working fluid do not meet the standard in aspect of global warming.R290 is a very good green natural refrigerants.It has no damage to the environment as its ODP = 0 and GWP= 3.3.The dryer system was tested and got data of the temperature in the dryer cycle,the air velocity,the temperature and humidity in the dry cycle,power of compressor and fan and the water get out of the system.The result is analyzed and some problems are found and get some guesses.Simulations for R134 a system and R290 system are made and calculated the parameters like COP,SMER to compare the performance.It can be find that the R290 system perform better than R134 a.And a plan for R290 experiment is made at last.
