With the continuous progress of society and the rapid development of economy,energy demand is growing,energy shortage crisis and environment pollution problems have become increasingly prominent,and As a kind of green and renewable energy,wind energy has become a research hotspot,Wind power single unit capacity is constantly increasing,which has reached the level of MW and several MWS,the pitch system has become an indispensable part of large-scale wind turbines,which can ensure the safety,stability,reliability and efficiency of the whole wind power generation system,the variable pitch control system is the key component of MW level wind turbine,which plays a vital role in ensuring the safety,stability,reliability and efficiency of the whole wind power generation system,Major work in the dissertation is demonstrated below.First of all,this paper discusses the aerodynamic principle of the wind turbine,analyzes the factors that affect the output power of the wind turbine,the operation mode of variable pitch wind turbine generator,working principle and performance characteristics of the hydraulic and the electric pitch control system.Then,the software and hardware design of the independent variable pitch control system of 2MW wind turbine is set up.Based on the analysis of the load,The design method of selecting key device is given,and the selection of the key components of the variable pitch system is completed,the controller uses B&R PLC,the servo motor uses three-phase permanent magnet synchronous motor,By using the master slave redundancy encoder,they are the rotary transformer and the multi loop absolute photoelectric encoder,standby power supply using super capacity scheme.The architectural design of the system software is completed,each program module process is given in detail,and the system software is developed.Finally,completed the construction design of load test platform and the software,A series of test methods are proposed in verifying the performance index of the pitch control system.A series of tests are carried out on the prototype by using the platform,The test results show that electric independent variable pitch control system has reached the design requirement,the prototype has passed Industrial operation test,According to the problems encountered in the operation,the system is improved and optimized,the research result has been been extended the application of industrialization.
