Research On Wind Turbine Variable Pitch System

Wind power is the renewable energy, explore of wind power now is the hot topic. Pitch control system is key part of wind turbine, and it significately guarantees the wind turbine working safely, effectively and steadily. This paper introduced the theory, structure and communication of CANbus for electric pitch control system of wind turbine; illustrated and analyzied the configuration and technical parameter of hardware of the system, by reference of real condition of wind farm, selected the each harewear type, which included Motion PLC, servo motor and gearbox, absolute encoder. Last, designed for the primary software, drawn the flow chart of each parts, programmed partly base on CoDeSys.According to most manufacturers overseas and native in China, trys to integrate the pitch control system, and approves the reference for research and development of the system.
