This paper proposes an optimization method for active distribution network(ADN)which is based on awareness index.It will rapidly and effectively solve global optimization for multi quantity and types DG/ESS problems.With the development of power electronics and electric equipment,more DG/ESS are in the grid.The DG/ESS are the resources of the system which can operate the power however they make the system more difficult to optimize.The paper is related on national high technology research and development of China 863 Program,it does the research on global optimization for all kinds of DG/ESS in the power system.If the program uses the traditional global optimization method to solve the problem,it will be more complex.So a new method should be proposed to solve the question which has more optimization variables.For controllable DGs,the paper proposes statement awareness(SA)index.The SA index quantify the output power range of the system which makes all equipment on node or in area to be regard as an equipment.Considering the relationship of equipment,node and area,the paper regards the equipment power characteristics as general statement awareness index.For uncontrollable DGs,the paper proposes forecasting model.The intermittent energy is mainly including PV and wind power.The method combines physical model and statistical model.The PV forecasting model find the relationship between low-frequency information and physical model and forecast the low-frequency power of PV in statistical model.The wind power forecasting model combines weather data and statistical model to forecast the output power.The electric vechicle(EV)in system has both controllable DGs and uncontrollable DGs characteristics.A bi-layer optimization method is proposed in the paper.On one hand EVs in power system can regard as ESS,on the other hand there are uncertainty of time and place.If we use EVs as optimization variables,it will make the global optimization more complex.The paper combines all charging piles as a flexible load system in global optimization and pass the target value to the bi-layer optimization model as restrictions to reduce the complexity.A global optimization model and algorithm is proposed in the paper to solve more quantity and type DG/ESS in ADN problems based on statement awareness index,power forecasting and bi-layer optimization.The proposed optimization model reduces the optimization variables and shrink the range of feasible solution.Therefore the model based on SA has a better performance than traditional one.
