Human has been designing air vehicle since hundreds of years ago.In recent years,flapping-wing micro air vehicle(FMAV)has become the target of many research institutes.However,human has not mastered the relative technology of FMAV up to now.Although some FMAVs are able to fly freely,there is still a long way to go compared with the nature masterpiece.Besides,the flying efficiency can still not reach that high level as theory analysis.It is obvious that there exist lots of difficulties to be overcome in the FMAV field.To solve the problem mentioned above,a simple double motor-driven FMAV was designed and optimized from a varies of aspects including theory optimization through air dynamic analysis and control signal optimization through experiment.In this paper,the subject in the study was firstly designed theoretically.In order to make it more convenient to be tested,the structure of the FMAV was designed simple and high DOFs.Based on the air dynamic theory,the relation between elastic element and flying performance was calculated so that the structure of the FAMV could be optimized.After assembling and complete the whole FMAV,the lift force was tested.The relation between lift force and wing moving pattern was analyzed through high-speed cameras and 3D-reconstruction technology.Based on the analysis result,the parameter of hovering control program was optimized and the hovering height control was achieved.
