Since the 21 st century,with the rapid growth of the world economy,car ownership continues to rise,and urban traffic problems become extremely acute.As the bottleneck of urban traffic network,Intersection plays a connecting role in traffic flow operation.Traffic flows in all directions converge,interweave and redistribute at intersections,resulting in numerous conflict points.How to improve the efficiency of urban road network and solve the bottleneck "intersection" in the road network is the most important thing to realize the sustainable development of urban traffic.This paper takes the intersection with comprehensive waiting area on the entrance road as the research object,and combines with the vehicle-road cooperation technology,studies the control conditions,traffic flow characteristics,operation index parameters,pre-signal and speed guidance linkage control model of comprehensive waiting area under the Cooperative Vehicle Infrastructure System.Finally,the VISSIM simulation software is redeveloped to realize the speed guidance of the upstream section of the pre-parking line in the comprehensive waiting area under the CVIS environment,which verifies the superiority of the control strategy of the comprehensive waiting area under the CVIS environment compared with the traditional comprehensive waiting area and the traditional intersection.Firstly,the paper reviews the research status of domestic and foreign scholars on the control methods and the application of vehicle-road collaboration technology for setting up comprehensive waiting areas at intersections and entrances,summarizes the existing problems and research deficiencies in this stage,and formulates the main research contents and technical routes of the paper.The main research contents are as follows:1.Discusses the control theory of the comprehensive waiting area under CVIS environment,including the framework of vehicle-road collaboration technology system,the setting conditions of the comprehensive waiting area under CVIS environment and the operation rules of motor vehicles in the comprehensive waiting area.2.The traffic flow characteristics of comprehensive waiting area under CVIS environment are analyzed emphatically,and the vehicle following model and lane changing model in comprehensive waiting area are established.With saturation,capacity,delay and parking times as evaluation index parameters,the comprehensive waiting area under CVIS environment and traditional comprehensive waiting area and traditional intersection are controlled.A comparative study was made on the preparation conditions.3.The synergetic control model of integrated waiting area under CVIS environment is established,the phase setting of main pre-signal in synthesized waiting area is optimized,and the synergetic control method of vehicle speed guidance and pre-signal is proposed.4.The VISSIM software is redeveloped,and the speed guidance is realized by using COM interface and Visual Basic language.The theoretical research of the above stages is verified and analyzed,which proves the superiority of the speed guidance and pre-signal linkage control in this paper.The research results of this paper show that the setting of double parking lines and main presignal in the waiting area will inevitably increase the average parking times of vehicles in this section,resulting in unnecessary parking delay.When the lane saturation is 1,the comprehensive waiting area can significantly improve the capacity of intersection compared with the traditional intersection entrance,but under this saturation condition,the average parking times and delay of cars have not decreased significantly.When the lane saturation is in the range of 0.4-0.8,the vehicle-road cooperative control in the comprehensive waiting area can effectively reduce the number of car parking times on the pre-parking line and the average delay time.Therefore,in order to achieve the optimal control effect,the method of setting up the comprehensive waiting area under CVIS environment needs to cooperate with reasonable control conditions.
