There are many complex interactions in the virtual maintenance simulation process.The traditional single-machine platform cannot flexibly display the maintenance simulation process,which has great limitations.Therefore,it is very necessary to carry out the research work of the distributed virtual maintenance simulation system.However,distributed systems also have problems such as cross-different hardware platforms,different network environments,different applications,interoperability between databases,and coexistence of new and old systems.The middleware is software built on a distributed heterogeneous environment,which can shield the difference between the underlying operating system and the network,and solve the problem of real-time communication and platform heterogeneity in the distributed system.Based on the virtual maintenance training of civil aviation,the paper deeply analyzes the characteristics of distributed virtual maintenance,and proposes the overall structure of middleware based on Data Distribution Service communication model and verifies its feasibility.The main work is as follows:First,it analyzes and summarizes the characteristics and functions of distributed virtual maintenance system,compares the communication models of common middleware,explores the middleware model applicable to distributed virtual maintenance systems,and determines the use of data distribution service.Besides,it analyzes distributed virtual maintenance middleware technology's feasibility,and proposes the overall design of middleware.Second,researching the DDS middleware related theory,including data distribution model,global data space,automatic discovery algorithm and QoS strategy.Third,designing of the distributed virtual maintenance middleware,including data definition and processing,core module design and implementation,interface design,data query function,and proposed data publishing and subscription process.Fourth,the middleware is tested both functions and performance.The functional aspects include the core module and the automatic discovery algorithm.The performance aspects include stability and transmission rate,and the middleware design scheme is analyzed for the test results.Distributed virtual maintenance communication middleware is designed based on the data distribution service.With this middleware,the distributed virtual maintenance system can achieve loosely coupled,highly reliable data communication while meeting the real-time requirements of virtual maintenance.
