Air flyover is a unique traffic pattern at the intersection of airways to solve the shortage of airspace resources and the congestion of air traffic operation in China.Building air flyovers at busy intersections is an effective way for air traffic control departments to improve the capacity of air routes and optimize the structure of airspace.With the support of the Air Traffic Control Department's project "Air Flyover Architecture Design and Efficiency Analysis Research",This paper combines China's airspace structure and operational characteristics,summarizes relevant research at home and abroad,analyzes and combs the air traffic complexity model and the air flyover structure.In this paper,the architecture design of air flyover based on the complexity of airway intersection is studied as follows:Firstly,in order to find out the main factors affecting the complexity of airway intersections,starting from the real-time flight flow at airway intersections,combining the control operation status of airway intersections and the real-time flight flow distribution on the complexity of airway intersections,the impact of different flight flows on the complexity of airway intersections is analyzed,and the sensitivity of model parameters is analyzed to explore the impact of the complexity of airway intersections.Indicators,and the complexity of 345 airway intersections the country was analyzed.Secondly,14 reasonable intersection complexity indices are selected from two aspects of spatial geometric complexity index and traffic operation complexity to construct the intersection complexity index system.Then,the system clustering method based on Ward method is selected to refine the index system.Finally,the intersection complexity index system with 8 complexity indices is obtained.Thirdly,based on the theory of dynamic function method and traffic intrinsic measure method,combined with the intersection complexity index system,considering collision conflict area and route capacity,the geometric complexity and traffic operation complexity of the intersection are modeled and analyzed.Thereal-time flight traffic flow data are used to simulate and analyze the busier airway intersections in seven major regulatory areas in China,and the complexity of the busier airway intersections is quantified.Finally,the operational status of air flyovers in various control areas in China is analyzed.Based on the complexity of airway intersections and related protocol documents,the method and process for determining the intersection points of air flyovers are given.A height-level structure model of air flyovers is established by combining air capacity and air traffic control agreement.Taking WHA(Tianhe)flyover in Central South Control Area as an example,the correctness and rationality of the proposed model and method are verified by simulation.
