With the development of social economy,the problem of environmental deterioration and energy shortage is becoming more and more prominent,and the change of transportation is changing with each passing day.As an efficient and environmentally friendly means of transport,electric vehicles have attracted wide attention.In addition,permanent magnet motor is widely used in the field of electric vehicles because of its high efficiency,high reliability and high power factor.Compared with the traditional three-phase motor,the output torque and fault tolerance of the multi-phase permanent magnet motor have been greatly improved.Fault-Tolerant Permanent-Magnet Synchronous Motor(FT-PMSM)for electric vehicle drive is studied in this paper.The fault-tolerant algorithm is designed based on vector control.The electromagnetic and mechanical characteristics of FT-PMSM before and after fault-tolerant control are compared.The results show that the five-phase FT-PMSM has excellent electromagnetic and mechanical characteristics under the application of fault-tolerant control strategy,and the research results effectively promote the application and development of the five-phase FT-PMSM.The main contents of this paper are as follows:1.By analyzing the structure,working principle,static characteristics,voltage equation and mathematical model of five-phase FT-PMSM,the coordinate transformation relations between mathematical models in different coordinate systems are deduced.2.The CBPWM vector control of FT-PMSM is studied around the normal and fault-tolerant states respectively.The fault-tolerant control strategy is based on two different principles of invariant magnetic momentum and minimum copper consumption.The fault types are divided into one-phase open circuit and two-phase open circuit.3.Build the simulation model of five phase FT-PMSM control system with MATLAB/Simulink software.The results show that the five-phase FT-PMSM runs well under the fault-tolerant control strategy.4.Build a five-phase FT-PMSM test platform based on DSP,carry out the hardware and software design needed by this research,including the design of hardware driver circuit and system control program,use the platform and hardware and software to implement a large number of experimental tests.According to the experimental results,the rationality and feasibility of the five phase FT-PMSM fault-tolerant control strategy are finally demonstrated.
