With the development of economy,the government vigorously promotes public transport to alleviate traffic congestion caused by the rapid growth of car ownership.However,the limited road space resources lead to the limitation of traffic organization methods.The mixing of cars and buses and the entry and exit of buses further aggravate traffic congestion.Under the restriction of road condition and traffic organization form,it is particularly important to determine the reasonable bus stop setting form.Different stop setting forms will affect the operation mode of buses and cars at the same time.Although the bay stop is widely considered to be better than the straight line stop,the deceleration and waiting clearance at the bay stop bus will increase the delay of buses and also affect the normal operation of the cars near the stop.Therefore,the reasonable form of bus stop setting can reduce the overall delay of the vehicles in the road.Cellular Automata(CA)model,as an accurate microscopic traffic flow simulation model,is widely used in traffic flow simulation.However,the existing CA model only considers simple traffic conditions in the following and lane-changing parts.In order to make it possible to judge the reasonable form of bus stop setting under different road conditions,this paper studies the following and lane-changing models of cellular automata,considers different lane-changing places,improves the lane-changing rules of cellular automata model,and improves the operation rules,so that they can be applied to the simulation of traffic flow in roads with different stop-setting forms,so that the appropriate form of bus stop setting can be determined according to the operation efficiency of traffic flow.Firstly,the existing research on bus stop,lane-changing model and cellular automata model is elaborated,and the insufficiency is analyzed.Then,the research objective of this paper is to determine the reasonable form of bus stop under different road conditions according to the delay of buses and cars.Subsequently,the three processes of bus entering-stopping-leaving under different road conditions and different stop forms are subdivided,and then the interaction between bus and car is analyzed.Finally,the influence road models under different road conditions and different stop forms are established to determine the scope of the research object in this paper.Then,the lane-changing probability under different arrival distributions and densities of traffic flow is analyzed,and the lane-changing situation of buses and cars is analyzed according to different lane-changing places.In addition,considering different speeds and safety conditions,based on lane-changing decision-making process,this paper improves the lane-changing rules of cars and buses under different road conditions and stop settings.Further,according to the influence road model and the improved lane-changing rules,the cellular automaton NS model is improved.First,according to the research object of this paper,the length and boundary conditions of the cell are re-selected,and then the rules of acceleration,deceleration,random slowdown and location updating of vehicles in cells are improved,then three kinds of CA models of the road of influence,the straight line and the bay bus stop are established respectively,and these three kinds of CA models are integrated to get the CA model covering the whole research scope.Then the process of model simulation is explained in detail,and then the MATLAB program is written according to the process.Finally,two actual roads of bus stops are selected for investigation,and the survey data are processed and input into the MATLAB program to run.Speed-density and Density-flow diagrams are obtained under different lane-changing probabilities and bus ratios.At the same time,VISSIM is used for simulation.The output data of the two methods are analyzed and compared with the measured data,and the results show that the improved CA model is closer to the actual situation than VISSIM,and has the advantages of high accuracy and simplicity.
