Study On The Localization Design Of The Whole Wood Household In Mediterranean Style

The whole wood furniture has a long history in china,but it’s almost Chinese style.We need to design a new style.The generation after 90 s now is becoming China’s purchase of a potential share.They have a high requirement for the living environment,and reveal their own personality.Mediterranean style is a naturalistic style with nature,romance,simple modern,cool and refreshing color combinations,which is popular with young people.The Mediterranean style can be integrated into native culture through Localization research,which can serve the Chinese consumers better.This paper is dedicated to solving design problems of the localization of the whole wood household in Mediterranean style through the design semiotics.Firstly,studying the characteristics of the material,color,shape,and culture.Analyzing the differences between Mediterranean region and China in living conditions,cultural background,human races and living conditions,which obtains the necessity of localization.Secondly,based on the principle of design semiotics,the constituent elements and communications of whole wood household in Mediterranean style,as well as the design process of situation semantics of the whole wood household in Mediterranean style were obtained.The intention vocabulary base of whole wood household in Mediterranean style was obtained through the perceptual image survey.Finally,the paper studies the different context themes of whole wood household in the Mediterranean style,and getting the corresponding context semantic vocabulary.The living room context is selected to extract relevant design elements,“harmony brings wealth” as the semantic vocabulary.The final product is obtained through three-dimensional software modeling.The usability of the product was assessed in conjunction with human factor engineering.Based on the semiotics,this paper constructed process of the situational semantic design of whole wood furniture in Mediterranean style,and applying it to the actual product design.Providing certain reference value and significance for the localized design of whole wood household in Mediterranean style.Secondly,setting whole household material of perceptual image through semantic vocabulary of whole household material of perceptual image research,you can directly find the corresponding material.Users can make their own preferences.Designer can select correctly material for users.
