| The medium pumped by the light hydrocarbon pump is easy to have phase change,and often brings economic losses due to the failure of shaft-end seal.Surface texture with radial distribution is applied on bearings and mechanical seals,but the lubrication effect is bad.The bionics can improve the lubrication effect in tribology,this paper combining the texture and bionics shape,using the commercial software such as ANSYS and MATLAB to deal with the mechanical seal with bionic surface texture’s steady-state performance.Firstly,in order to prevent the mixed friction occur at the low speed,the physical model of surface roughness is considered in this paper,and the lubrication state of the bionic mechanical seal is solved.Based on Schnerr-Sauer model establish the mechanical seal with bionic surface texture of steady flow field distribution in the full liquid film lubrication state,and compare the mechanical seal with bionic surface texture’s and radial arrangement texture mechanical seal’s performance;Secondly,consider other shapes of texture or the texture distribution in different ways and compare their performance,and study the influence of geometric parameters and operating parameters on the sealing performance of the seals,optimize the structure parameter of mechanical seal.Thirdly,this paper calculated the film temperature distribution and the thermal-force deformation a fluid solid coupling solid state,and study the relationship between the film maximum temperature distribution and the thermalforce deformation with the pressure difference and speed.Finally,test the friction torque and the leakage of the round shape and square shape texture distribution of bionic mechanical seal by the laboratory test bench.Paving the way for future study of other texture bionic mechanical seal.The conclusion as follows: the mixed friction state occur at the low speed,when the film speed is greater than 2000r/min the state belongs to the full liquid film lubrication.Hydrodynamic pressure effect around each shape with the texture mechanical.Compared with the radial arrangement,the bionic sealing performance is better,the result proves the rationality of the structure of bionic distribution.By optimizing the geometry parameter of the surface,finding that radius of groove of 0.6~1.5mm,the texture depth 1~2.5μm,snail helix angle of 15 degrees the seal has the best performance.The thermal deformation of the static ring is larger than the force deformation,the thermal deformation takes the main position in the total deformation.Test results and the simulation results are similar,and lay the foundation for engineering practice. |
