In the era of the resurgence of traditional culture,people have given closer attention to modern cultural products and higher levels of consumer demand,which is closely related to the current improvement of quality of life,advancement of science and technology,and rapid economic development.Cultural products are designed not only to meet their functional requirements,but also to provide users with more emotional care at the mental and psychological levels.Traditional health culture is one of China's unique national cultures,and it has won universal cultural identity in the present society.It has shaped the Chinese people's cognitive and practical views from the perspective of health care;more importantly,it has profoundly influenced people's ways of thinking and codes of conduct for a long time.China's health culture has become a systematic theory with thousand years of development,making important contributions to disease prevention and treatment and physical enhancement.In order to improve the quality of life and promote physical and mental health,traditional health culture must be in line with the needs of modern society.The first step,what we should do is to select and innovate the elements of the traditional health culture that are in conformity with modern life,and then to spread and promote them through new media and channels.Combined with the narrative design theory,this study take the practical functions and spiritual functions of the health culture that consumers pay attention to into consideration,and aims to design health culture products that fit in with what fashion is about.First of all,we start with the traditional ideology and culture of various schools in China,and sort out the contents of the health culture contained in it.Based on the study of Chinese medicine and Confucianism,Taoism and Buddhism culture,we classify cultural factors into two categories,namely visible culture(patterns,artifacts and materials)and invisible culture(thoughts,history,stories,folk customs,etc.).We will refer to these cultural elements to understand relevant cultural knowledge and then explore the design of current health culture product elements.Secondly,we will extract the unique design elements of traditional health culture under the guidance of the theory of semantic semiotics.After that,we should apply the narrative design method to the design process of cultural products,present the design process from five aspects: definition,elements,strategies,approaches and models,and summarize the methods of product narrative design.Finally,through specific practical operations,we complete the narrative design works with the connotation of traditional health culture,and verify the theoretical rationality andpractical feasibility.In summary,The cultural theme event narrative product design method can integrate traditional culture and present different product experience and cultural experience to users in the form of “story” scene.I hope that this research will provide some creative ideas for future health culture product design and make new contributions to the inheritance of traditional health culture.
