| Under the background of transformation development,China’s urbanization has begun to enter the stage of transformation and upgrading.In the process of urban transformation development,the inherent urban development model also influences and dominates the development of the city,and urban problems begin to emerge.Facing the urban development dilemma of the declining urban central area,how to carry out urban renewal of different types of areas is the current problem,and it is also the opportunity and challenge of the city.As a special urban renewal,the protection and renewal of urban historical areas may be more diverse,more typical,and involve more participants than the urban renewal in the general sense.The renewal decision-making of the historical areas,it can reflect the urban development’s understanding and attention to the preservation and continuation of urban historical form,it can also reflect the development predicament and problems of urban renewal in the current context.On the one hand,this paper explores the interwoven relationship between historical protection and urban renewal through the practical exploration of the historical area of Dongguan street in Dalian,and finds out the problems.First of all,Dalian is a famous coastal tourism city in northern China,with rich historical resources but still to be developed.Secondly,Dalian Dongguan street faces a new round of urban renewal as the urban historical area,the decay zone of the city center,and the shanty town.In the decision-making stage of retention,the debate between "retention" and "demolition" of Dalian Dongguan street was pushed to the peak by public opinion,which not only highlighted the problem of "historical protection",but also exposed the problems faced by current "urban renewal".In the process,current urban renewal is faced with many problems,such as dependence on the real estate market,financial dilemma,enterprise local government,and elite renewal forms.Analyze the dilemma of the retention decision-making,from this,we can see the conflict between "historical protection" and economic development,and the lack of relevant concepts and policies regulations.On the other hand,clarify the current development background of urban renewal,analysis the preservation and continuation of urban historical form,this paper puts forwardthinking about the planning for the preservation and continuation of current urban historical form.Firstly,by summarizing and analyzing the historical process of urban renewal at home and abroad,and aiming at the background of China’s current urban transformation development,clear the real needs of current urban renewal and urban development.Secondly,based on the New Urbanism theory in response to urban sprawl and expansion and the Neo-Marxism theory starting from social background and political economy,analysis is made on the value and significance of the preservation and continuation of current urban historical form in the response to urban problems,inheritance of traditions and review on current urban renewal.Analysis is carried out on the influence of factors on the preservation and continuation of urban historical forms such as the leading role of capital,the imbalance of government management,and the influence of multiple participants.Finally,in view of the problems faced by protection and renewal of the current historical areas,according to the summary analysis of domestic and international cases,as a reference,discussing the China’s current preservation and continuation of urban historical form,including: the preservation and continuation of urban historical forms in space,planning and design involving more participants,the government’s long-term sustainable "governance",the lack and improvement of policy orientation and legal system,etc.At the end of the paper,think for the problems that cultural orientation and consumption-guided urban renewal may face.And discussed the "spiritual value" of historical sites.In order to provide a reference for the urban redevelopment,such as the protection and renewal of urban historical areas,the comprehensive renovation of cities,the micro-renewal of cities,and the revival of cities under the redevelopment of urban stock space. |
