In the face of increasingly fierce market competition of product homogeneity,servicederivative relying on the advantages of manufacturing business and products has gradually become an effective strategy for service-oriented manufacturing transformation of manufacturing enterprise.The increase in service input and risk has aroused widespread concern about the degree of servitization in the academic and business circles.Therefore,the division partitioning for effective strategies implementation has become one of the key issues in this study.Meanwhile,the operational process has changed considerably because of the embedding of derivative services.How to evaluate the performance of the operation process of manufacturing enterprises has become another key topic of this research.Focusing on the above research questions,this study is based on the related literatures of service derivation,manufacturing servicizing decision-making,and its process characterization and evaluation.It is depicted about the process of service derivation in the manufacturing enterprises based on service blueprinting.So the implementation patterns are divided into two types: technology innovation as the leading and service innovation as the leading,which lays the foundation for proposal of the service derivative implementation strategies;Then,using the population competition model to analyze the competitive evolution relationship between service breadth and depth,and the implementation strategies of service derivation in the service-oriented manufacturing enterprises under the different situations are obtained.Finally,in the context of a service derivation strategy in which breadth and depth coexist,the operation processes of pre-delivery and post-delivery of D SUV of S company is selected as a research object,and the influence of the implementation strategies of service derivative operation processes is discussed.The results indicate that:(1)The implementation of service derivation relies on effective collaboration between interactions of supply and demand in the front stage and customization production in the back stage.The implementation process of service derivation based on the service blueprinting shows that collaboration between front stage and back stage helps manufacturing companies to provide integrated solutions for customer demands.The breadth and depth of services can be used as decision-making dimensions of service derivation,which are respectively correspond to service derivatives oriented to technological innovation and service derivative oriented to serviceinnovation.(2)Under the resource constraints,the implementation strategies of service derivation considering service breadth and depth have two types: single-dimensional existence and two-dimensional coexistence in the service-oriented manufacturing enterprises.Manufacturing enterprises should choose its own service derivation strategies based on its own capabilities and resources,and realize the rational allocation of resources to avoid the failure of service derivation due to resources competition.(3)Two-dimensional coexistence realization strategy has a significant impact on service derivative operational processes of pre-delivery and post-delivery.Through performance analysis and evaluation,it is found that some original links of the service derivative are optimized,and some new links not only have no obvious impact on the service provision sub-process in the operational processes,but also enhance the customers' experience and products personalization.Meanwhile,providing a basis for further improvement of the inefficiency links in the product manufacturing sub-process.This study analyzes the implementation processes of the service derivation in the manufacturing enterprises and studies the evaluation of its implementation strategies and operational processes performance,which not only enriches the service derivative research theories,but also provides a theoretical basis for service derivative decision-making and process improvement in the specific manufacturing enterprises.
