Currently,the evaluation techniques and standards for BeiDou user terminals are being gradually improved and formulated,however,the electromagnetic compatibility standards for BeiDou airborne receiver concerning the civil aviation has not yet been made.RTCA/DO-208,Mininum Operational Performance Standards for Airborne Supplemental Navigation Equipment Using Global Positioning System,referenced RTCA/DO-160 C Section20 for its radio freqency test.RTCA has released its latest version,RTCA/DO-160 G,Environmental Conditions and Test Procedures for Airborne Equipment,on December 8,2010.The research of radio frequency susceptibility test on BeiDou airborne receiver based on RTCA/DO-160 G Section20 can provide reference for the formulation of relevant domestic standards as well as facilitate its airworthiness in civil aviation.Firstly,systematic theoretical modeling and analysis are carried out in terms of conducted susceptibility and radiated susceptibility outlined in RTCA/DO-160 G Section20 and validate its effectiveness by comparing with the practical test results or the specifications outlined by the standard.Secondly,in order to enhance the consistency of test results among different test methods,the equivalence conditions of different test methods stipulated in RTCA/DO-160 G Section20 are analysed,meanwhile,the feasibility and equivalent conditions of some novel alternative test methods at home and abroad are also analysed.Thridly,the measurement uncertainty of conducted susceptibility and radiated susceptibility is analysed to ensure the repeatability and reliability of test results.It is recommended to use montle carlo method for measurement uncertainty evaluation to achieve the desired outcomes by the comparison between Guide to the Expression Uncertainty in Measurement and the montle carlo method in view of the uncertainty evaluation results.Finally,the Novatel Flexpak6 receiver is used to perform radio frequency susceptibility test according to the test procedures of the standard.The compliance test results indicate that the receiver shows strong endurance for conducted interference,however,it is susceptible to both in-band and out-of-band radiated interference.the threshold test results show that the receiver is much more tolerant to the pluse modulated signal than continuous wave.
