In recent years,with the continuous development of society and economy in rural areas of China,the electricity consumption rural residents has also intensified.Many rural power grids frequently experience poor power supply,which greatly affects the lives of residents.In order to meet the quality requirements of rural power grid voltage and improve the economic benefits of State Grid Corporation and users,it is necessary to take measures to improve the voltage stability of rural power grid lines.Based on the compensation principle of var,this paper ananlyzes the reactive power and load characteristics,as well as the transmission characteristics of reactive power,and studies the static var compensaion technology.An optimal SVC placement method based on outer point penalty function is proposed.The system voltage fluctuation is taken as the objective function and the compensation capacity as the constraint condition.In order to solve the problem that the long line and the terminal voltage of the Houyang line in Jintan 10 kV rural network are low.The static var compensator is introduced into the power grid by optimizing the configuration of the outer point penalty function.In practical applications,according to the line load characteristics,the type and capacity of the static var compensator are detemined by calculating the reactive capacity,node voltage and phase angle of the line.Through many experiments,the measured teminal voltage deviation was increased from-3% before compensation to +3% after compensation.In addition,the terminal voltage over-limit time was shortened from 56 minutes before compensation to 11 minutes after compensation,and at the same time after compensation,Within 3 months,the 10 kV Houyang line produced a total economic benefit of 8716 yuan.
