Ball-pin bearings are widely used in civil,military,automotive,aerospace and other fields,especially in the automotive industry.Ball-pin bearings are generally packaged and formed by rotary riveting technology,and their packaging technology is one of the core technologies for achieving lightweight vehicles and driving safety.Due to the many coupling factors affecting the quality of the packaged product,the quality of the components after the completion of the package is difficult to ensure.In order to ensure the normal use of the ball-pin bearings,solve the technical monopoly and promote the development of the automotive field,therefore,the ball head Research on pin-type bearing riveting and packaging is imperative.In this paper,the cantilever ball-pin bearing is taken as the research object,and the finite element analysis method is used to simulate the forming of the cantilever ball-pin bearing.In order to reduce the influencing factors,the influencing factors and reasons of the quality of the rotary rivet forming are first studied.By studying the influence of the pressing speed and rotation speed of the rivet head on the package quality,a reasonable rivet process parameter is obtained.In order to obtain the influence of the spherical seat geometry and size on the staking effect,the edging forming area is obtained by the orthogonal test method.The effects of height,width and slope are studied,and the degree of influence is studied.The influence of the shape of the rivet head on the rivet is optimized from the geometrical shape of the rivet head;in the case of ensuring the quality of the rivet Model simplification and finite element analysis of the whole part of the ball stud to study and obtain the overall finite element model,to provide services for the later performance test,and optimize the bearing material on this basis,by adjusting the bowl size adjustment groove The width,number and number of oil grooves are obtained to a superior bearing material shape.
