The steel-concrete composite reinforcement technique is a new strengthening method which combines the characteristics of pasting steel plate reinforcement and increasing concrete section reinforcement.This kind of method is rarely used on Bridges.A simply supported T beam finite element model is designed,and the related working condition load is also added for processing force analysis.Three steel-concrete composite reinforcement models are designed from different steel plate thickness,The reinforcement effects of different schemes are compared,they has little difference.Meanwhile,the method of H steel plate reinforcement will result to plate buckling,the method of steel box girder reinforcement will lead to concrete stripping.So,the method of continuous thickness steel plate reinforcement is selected as the best method for bridge reinforcement analyzing in later period.This paper takes the reinforcement project of a simply supported girder bridge in service in hubei province as the research background.According to the site surveys of the simply supported girder bridge,the steel plate-concrete composite reinforcement scheme designed in this paper is reasonable.The working condition load is also defined according to the design specification,the stress condition of the bridge is calculated,the ultimate bearing capacity of the old bridge can no longer meet the standard working condition.According to the numerical simulation analysis of composite reinforcement,the ultimate bearing capacity of the bridge increases by about 39.6%.The checking calculation of the ultimate bearing capacity of the bridge at the most unfavorable load positions has passed,so the combined reinforcement effect is remarkable.Through the deflection test,strain test and crack test of the bridge,the stress state of the bridge is within the linear elastic working range and the crack expansion is also restrained after the steel-compositereinforcement method is adopted.
