With the rapid development of Chinese social economy in recent years, the contradiction between transportation needs and load capacity of existing bridges becomes more and more prominent due to the quickly increasing traffic flow and vehicle axle load. Affected by some harmful factors such as frequent overloaded vehicles, design defect, construction quality problem, environmental erosion, et al, the number of damaged or dangerous bridges gradually increased and quite a few of them need to be strengthened. In the face of the increasingly difficult task of bridge reconstruction, it is urgent to find a fast, effective and reliable method.The thesis puts forward the idea of the strengthening prestressed plate beam with HTRCS(High Toughness Resin Concrete with Steel Mesh) for the first time, based on improving the rigidity, ductility, bearing capacity and integrity of concrete plate beam, adopting theoretical analysis, indoor full-scale static test and fatigue test as verification. It analyzes stress mechanism and failure process of the reinforced prestressed plate beam systematically. The main research contents are as follows:1、The thesis intends to analyze systematically and comprehensively the cracking and disease of hinge joints relying on a highway that was detected, which reveals the formation and failure mechanism of the crack. It functions to provide basis for avoiding or reducing diseases of this kind and explore the rational and effective reinforcement method.2、The author explores the static load test for 2 beams which are applied to full-scale datum beam static load test, and full-scale beam with proper steel mesh static load test. Compared the reinforced beam with datum beam, the functions of cracking load and failure load are significantly improved.3、The thesis explores how to choose the proper concrete, regular reinforcement, prestressed steel strand in order to construct constitutive relationship with the reinforcement material. This thesis is to make correlation analysis of reinforcing bridges with new materials by using the finite element analysis software "Midas FEA"4、The author uses fatigue property test for reinforced hollow slab, and analyses the variation law of the stiffness, strength in the process of the test. There was no abnormal condition in the fatigue process and after four million times’fatigue load, the residual deformation of the beam was small; In the heaviest static load condition, the maximum deflection was in accordance with the strain, which was accorded with the plane section assumption; There was no stiffness degradation phenomena of the beam. After four million times’load, in the static load test, compared the mechanical behaviour of the reinforced beam without fatigue load, the mechanical behaviour, bearing capacity, and cracking property were almost invariant, and the residual deformation increased. The fatigue property of the reinforced beam meet demand.
