High-precision automated production of cable is a great significance for Cable net forming.There are many disadvantages in existing manual equipment,which affects the production process.When the crimping module crimps the cable,the rope body is subjected to severe shear interference,it will greatly reduce the precision of the cable.And the equipment is not automated,which limits the efficiency of cable production.Therefore,design a compliant mechanism to optimize the structure of the crimping module,and complete the automation of the equipment is an effective means to solve the above two problems.Considering the tension and the length error caused by cable crimping,propose a solution for cable crimping by supple centering.Based on the Compliance Mechanisms theory,design a compliant crimping device.Establishing a flexibility matrix for the compliant mechanism,and the correctness of the matrix is verified by numerical simulation.In order to solve the optimal design of the crimping device,the optimization index and objective function of the compliant mechanism are proposed.Combined with the requirements of the crimping process,setting a higher non-dominated level and a coefficient of deviation,established the constraint criterion and calculation program of multi-objective algorithm NSGA2.The constrained NSGA2 algorithm is used to optimize the structure of the compliant mechanism.Numerical simulation and stiffness test experiments are carried out to verify the design parameters of the compliant mechanism.Completed the manufacture and assembly of the compliant crimping device.Achieve compliant centering crimping.Based on the cable connection equipment,complete the design of the equipment control program and automation.Design and build an electronic control system using PLC controller.With the help of LABVIEW,build the visual interface of PC.Overall,the automation of the device and the visibility of the information are improved.Using the compliant crimping device and the automatic system,corresponding verification tests were carried out.Calibrate the sensor of the device to improve measurement accuracy.Set PID parameters,according to the production requirements.Design a crimping comparison test,verifying the crimping can improves the precision with the compliant crimping device.Design tests to verify the performance improvement after equipment optimization.In this paper,we designed and optimized the compliant crimping device for the cable connection equipment,improve the crimping performance of the cable.Completed the tensiondisplacement measurement and control system,improve the accuracy and efficiency.
