| Lightning strike identification and fault location on transmission lines is a research topic of great value in power systems.With the continuous development and improvement of computer communication technology and digital signal processing technology,the lightning strike identification and traveling wave positioning of transmission lines are widely used in fault detection of transmission lines.There are technical problems in the application of lightning strike identification and traveling wave localization methods in fault detection of transmission lines.This paper focuses on the above problems.The main research contents are as follows:Firstly,the principle of traveling wave positioning and the wave process in transmission line are analyzed.The main influencing factors of double-ended traveling wave positioning method are analyzed.The lightning overvoltage and lightning waveform are studied.Secondly,aiming at the lightning fault identification problem of transmission lines,the transmission line simulation model is established,and the transient characteristics of inductive lightning strikes,non-faulty lightning strikes,faulty lightning strikes and short-circuit faults are simulated and analyzed to find the transient traveling wave signals under the above conditions.The difference of essential characteristics,extracting eigenvalues and constructing effective criteria for non-faulty lightning strikes,faulty lightning strikes and short-circuit fault identification,and perfecting lightning strike interference and fault type identification methods in traveling wave detection of high-voltage transmission lines.Thirdly,aiming at the defects of current traveling wave velocity measurement methods,a new algorithm for double-ended traveling wave fault location optimization which is not affected by traveling wave velocity is derived and applied to thelightning strike positioning of transmission lines.The new algorithm is not affected by traveling waves.The effect of wave speed and wire overhang.The theoretical analysis of the factors affecting the reliability of double-ended traveling wave fault location is carried out.The wavelet transform fault location method of the optimization algorithm under different influencing factors is simulated and verified.Finally,aiming at the problems of wavelet transform and Hilbert-Huang transform in fault traveling wave surge detection,a new method of fault traveling wave location based on the optimization algorithm of double-ended traveling wave fault location is proposed,which combines the variational mode decomposition(VMD)and TEO(Teager Energy Operator)energy operators.Different short-circuit faults,non-fault lightning strikes and faults are also detected.Sexual lightning strike is simulated and analyzed.Aiming at the inconsistency between the location of the falling point and the fault point in the fault lightning strike,a solution is proposed.The simulation and measurement results verify the effectiveness and accuracy of the method. |
