Reinforcing flexural beams with prestressed CFRP plate has the advantages of lower maintenance cost,improving the interface bonding between the CFRP plate and concrete,delaying their stripping and making full use of the advantages of high performance materials.Most researches are focus on doing some experiments from a macroscopic perspective.However,this kind of method not only has to spend a lot of manpower and material resources,but also cannot analysis the stress development of concrete components situation in the process of loading stress and cannot explain the cracking mechanism from the angle of the mesoscopic level.In numerical simulation,researches on concrete material mainly divided into four levels.They are macroscopic level,mesoscopic level,microscopic level and nasoscopic level.This paper uses finite element software and analyzes reinforcing flexural beams with prestressed CFRP plate on mesoscopic level.Working state of materials on mesoscopic level will influence the properties of structures on macroscopic level.As a result,this paper has important significance to study how RC simple beams work with the reinforcement of CFRP plates.This paper research the following several aspects and gets corresponding results by means of random aggregate model and nonlinear finite element analysis.(1)Build random aggregate model of RC simple beamsTake scientific steps to place the aggregate and use Monte-Carlo method.Write program to build appropriate 3D random aggregate numerical model with MATLAB.(2)Analysis of the mechanical damage of RC simple beams on mesoscopic levelGive different parts in this model different material properties.Build finite element model and compute it.Analyze the mechanical damage of RC simple beams.Study the mechanical characteristics and trend of development of different parts of RC simple beam.(3)Analysis of the mechanical damage of RC simple beams reinforced by CFRP plate on mesoscopic levelOn the base of the existing model,build a 3D finite element model of RC simple beams reinforced by CFRP plate.Analyze the mechanical damage situation from starting force to cracking stage.The results show that the reinforcement of CFRP plate can make the interior cells of numerical model up to the next damage step,give full play to materialproperties and improve bearing capacity of structure.(4)Analysis of the mechanical damage of RC simple beams reinforced with different prestressPrestress CFRP plate differently and analyze the mechanical damage situation from starting force to cracking stage.The results show that the increase of prestress can make the strain of aggregate and mortar improve,material tend to undermine.At the same time,the strain be more stable in the load process and the bearing capacity of structure increases.
