Application Of Waterproof And Anti-Crack Layer In Asphalt Concrete Pavement

The semi-rigid base material is easily affected by water and temperature,easy to produce dry shrinkage and temperature shrinkage cracks in the vehicle load,temperature and humidity and other factors,reflecting on the asphalt pavement surface layer,the reflective crack formation,integrity and continuity of the pavement structure will cause serious damage,in a certain degree weaken the pavement structure strength,when immersed in the rain and snow water will lead to the grassroots level more and more soft,pavement strength reduced,in a large number of repeated vehicle load will cause erosion or mud disease,will soon produce structural damage of pavement.How to effectively prevent the occurrence of early road reflection cracks,effectively solve the road surface layer,the semi-rigid base material for anti cracking performance of asphalt pavement play good performance has very important practical significance.Firstly,the reasons of water damage of the asphalt and the semi-rigid base pavement reflection crack mechanism were studied.Then,a new type of structural layer to prevent the water damage of the semi-rigid base asphalt pavement was presented in this paper.Based on the test of the raw material performance of the waterproof anti-cracking layer,the material grading of the waterproof anti-cracking layer was determined by using the method of fine aggregate adding mineral fiber.The asphalt mixture ratio with high polymer composite rubber asphalt was carried out and the mechanical properties of asphalt mixture were tested.To ensure that the layer is not softened at high temperature,and the negative temperature is not brittle.To ensure the waterproof anti-cracking layer can be waterproof and anti-cracking really.Finally,combined with experience of Xingtai city South 2nd ring,Daguang Expressway(Hengshui to Daming section)and Qingyin Expressway preventive maintenance project,application technology of waterproof crack layer in asphalt concrete pavement was studied systematically.And the construction process and quality control method of waterproof anti-cracking layer are determined.The engineering practice proves that this method can effectively seal water and prevent pavement cracking and prevent various diseases of the road,which can greatly prolong the life of the road.
