Research On Landscape Design Of Ancient Kiln Site Villages From The Perspective Of Regional Culture

With the development of rural reconstruction,the protection and development of traditional villages gradually get more and more attention which also brings the tourism boom to the traditional villages.However,there exist some problems in the planning and design of landscape of traditional villages..There is a trend of homogeneity in their appearance,and their unique features are fading away with time.The landscape design of the protection of traditional villages enters bottleneck period.As the industrial traditional village,ancient kiln site villages which just take a small part and haven't got too much attention have already had the same problems as the other traditional villages in their protected areas.Regional culture as the most recognizable label of the villages should be the important evidence of solving the disappearance of features and characteristics of the ancient kiln site villages.This thesis.taking regional features as the hitting point,based on literature review,case analysis and field research,investigates and compares 134 ancient kiln site villages of national administrative villages and conducts a research on the application of the landscape design.Here is the research result:1.According to the literature review and researchThe protection and development mode of traditional villages in China has changed from the stage of over emphasizing on development than on protection,over focusing on planning than on implementation,more on tangible over intangible consideration,more on rebuilding architecture than spreading culture to the new stage of emphasizing cultural protection,living inheritance and improving people's livelihood.But there is still a lack of traditional village landscape and ancient kiln site village landscape design cases with regional features in China at this stage.2.Through the data research and on-the-spot investigation of the villages in the ancient kiln site,it is found that there are many commonalities,for example,all of them are located in the areas intertwined with mountains and rivers,deeply influenced by the ancient kiln culture,have a long history and culture,preserve the architecture sites,and were prosperous before etc.However,each village sites has its own unique regional cultural characteristics.The regional atmosphere of the ancient kiln site villages is formed by the interaction of its natural geography,human environment and industrial culture.3.Based on the landscape elements of ancient kiln site villages,this paper digs deeply into the regional cultural elements of ancient kiln site villages.Combining with the case and the practice of village landscape design in Baomei Village,Tingxi Town,Xiamen City,this paper summarizes the following strategies of landscape design of ancient kiln site villages from the perspective of regional culture: to build the ancient kiln culture industry and stimulate the vitality of the folk;to design humanistic landscape design and exert cultural function;to make use of the innovation of traditional industries to keep step with the era in order to form a village landscape culture atmosphere with ancient kiln culture as the main body and other regional culture developing together.Based on the experience of rural construction learned from practice,this thesis sums up a new pattern of landscape design of ancient kiln site villages that can be used for reference and conform the development of the times,and provides theoretical basis for future landscape design of ancient kiln site villages.The landscape of BaoMei Village in Tong'an District of XiaMen City is designed to create a landscape space of ancient kiln site villages with regional characteristics which conforms to the orientation of being a high profile TingXi Town for tourists.
