The exploration of novel architectural forms has always been pursued by architects.In the course of architecture development,there are many creative design methods for architectural forms,but with the refinement of disciplines,the disciplines of architecture and structure have different focuses.In practice,most architects and structural engineers carry out relatively independent work patterns.Architecture and structure play different social divisions of labor,which makes the unity of shape and force in buildings difficult.The interactive nature of the graphical static method and the graphical solution can solve this problem well.In the process of designing the form,a reasonable transmission path of force is also designed,which combines “shape” and “force”,thus enabling more creative ideas with holistic and mechanical aesthetics to be realized.Therefore,based on the existing related research,this paper combs the development and application history of the static theory of diagrams,and applies the interactive theory of statics to the creation of architectural forms,and explores the structural forms from the perspective of architectural design.The fusion of architectural forms in architectural forms,and attempts to summarize the creative thinking of architectural forms based on graphical statics,hope to inspire readers to think about the reasonable form of force in form design,and provide more possibilities for the innovative development of architectural disciplines.The full text is divided into six chapters.The first chapter introduces the research background,summarizes the relevant research status at home and abroad,proposes the research object and method,and determines the research framework.The second chapter summarizes the connection mode and significance of architectural form and structure,and draws the following discussion on the description of statics as a structural calculation and structural design method.The third chapter introduces in detail the basic principles of graphical statics and clarifies the basic concepts related to graphical statics.At the same time,the operation steps of using the static statics to obtain the shape of the purely compressed arch are introduced,which reveals the relationship between the "shape" and the "force" and its application in architectural design.Finally,the architectural practice based on the graphical statics idea to find a reasonable shape based on the model statics is summarized.The fourth chapter analyzes the interaction design between shape and force based on the analysis of the internal forces of the existing forms and the analysis of the two unidirectional processes through the mechanics.The tree branch structure and the interaction design of the architect in the creative process are introduced in detail.The fifth chapter,based on the concept of shape and force,explores and summarizes the architectural form creation strategy based on graphical statics,which is summarized into two directions: starting from the unit and starting from the overall form,and introducing the specific operational ideas.In the sixth chapter,two unconventional cases are analyzed in detail from the perspective of graphical statics,and the design logic behind the unconventional cases is illustrated in graphic language.It is hoped to inspire readers to have reasonable mechanical forms in the process of architectural form design.Thinking and conducting interactive morphological design based on graphical statics.
