Wetland has always been an important environmental resource for urban development.With the development of eco-city and sponge city,the attitude towards wetlands has long been from damage development,development to protection and restoration,to re-cultivation and reconstruction;Wetlands have been redesigned to build wetland parks,urban wetland parks,and today's urban constructed wetlands.Thereby opening up the concept of urban ecological planning with wetland as the main body.As the material energy flow center in the urban constructed wetland ecosystem,aquatic plants play an important media role in the connection between urban landscape and wetland ecology.Therefore,ecological planning of urban constructed wetlands is required,and the ecological design of aquatic plants is an indispensable component.This paper has made a preliminary definition of urban constructed wetland and aquatic plant ecological design with literature research,and combed the relevant theories of aquatic plant ecological design.Then,a one-year investigation was conducted with the Guanyinhu Urban Wetland Park,the Colorful North Road Urban Wetland Park,the Shenglian Island Urban Constructed Wetland and the artificial wetland along the Minjiang River in Suining City,Sichuan Province.The survey subjects were divided into 5 large sample sections,19 sample strips and 21 sample plots.Community survey and frequency survey were carried out for each aquatic plant in the transect.Through the environmental adaptability,landscape appreciation,ecological water purification,ecological security,economic and cultural indicators,the ecological design evaluation system of urban artificial wetland in Suining City was constructed,and the comprehensive optimal sample was selected as V-sample.The water purification is optimal for the II and V samples,and the representative sample community is E-F and O-S.The II sample has the best environmental adaptability and the worst ecological security,and III,IV,V sample have a slight advantage in economic and cultural aspects.Finally,the dominant species of aquatic plant communities in each criterion layer were selected.Based on the research and theoretical research results of aquatic plants in Suining City,the design goals,principles and contents of aquatic plant ecological design in urban constructed wetlands are summarized,including four aspects.1)Functional partition design of aquatic plants2)Design of related elements of urban constructed wetlands3)Aquatic plant space allocation mode4)Construction management of aquatic plants.Through the exploration and analysis of the four aspects of the design content,and then targeted application in the actual project-Suining City,the water into the rivers and lakes Unicom project,for the project and future similar urban constructed wetland project in the special ecological design strategy for aquatic plants Some ideas and references.
