Since the "13th Five-Year Plan" pointed out that the construction of the expressway network should be accelerated,the highway has entered a period of heavy and concentrated construction,and it is inevitable to develop into mountainous areas in its planning.The completion and use of the highway tunnels has a positive role in improving the economic situation along the route.Its own operation and maintenance management is difficult,and this stage is an important part of the tunnel’s whole life cycle.In addition,the geological conditions are complex and changeable when through the mountains,and it is easy to appear the case that the construction does not conform to the design,and thus leaves hidden dangers for the safety management of operating and maintenance costs after it is completed and opened to traffic.In order to solve this problem,it requires scientific and reasonable maintenance cost security management methods and theories,which can find out the problem and solve it in time in the maintenance stage,and ensure the safe use of the tunnel on the basis of the expected maintenance cost.This paper takes the highway tunnel project as the research object,focuses on its operation and maintenance stage,starts with the analysis of the related theories of the operation and maintenance cost and safety of it,and finds out the engineering features that have a great impact on the maintenance cost safety through consulting the literature data.In addition,the historical data on similar projects that have been completed and opened to traffic in the past are collected.After analyzing and organizing,the paper constructs a historical database of the tunnel project,which provides the support for forecasting and optimizing the maintenance cost of the tunnel.On the basis of this,the intelligent optimization model of the operation and maintenance cost and safety of the highway tunnel project is built.Firstly,based on the database,the paper selects similar cases through the PSO cluster analysis,and then expounds the process of using the BP neural network model to predict the operation and maintenance cost and safety data of the research object,which in turn helps to set maintenance goals.After that,the paper constructs the corresponding countermeasures base accroding to the cost and safety problems reasons of the tunnel operation and maintenance.Through the Heinrich’s Law to identify the safety hidden danger in operation,the paper establishes the tunnel project operation maintenance and cost warning system according to specific problems.Combining the principle of the PDCA,optimization management objectives and key points is achieved.BIM technology is applied to the cost and security management of the operation and maintenance,and the above model is implemented after the opening of the Dadaoliang Tunnel project to verify the effectiveness of the model.Finally,the BIM technology is introduced to establish a auxiliary management model for the operation and maintenance of the Dadaoliang Tunnel.The visualization model can make the relevant personnel visually view the surrounding environment,detailed structure,and the key weak parts after the opening of the tunnel.In BIM software,through simulating the management process of the maintenance cost and safety of the tunnel,when it is found that the presence doesn’t match the intended objective,the manager can clearly see the control measures that can be taken,and then improve the ability and effectiveness of the tunnel operation and maintenance management.
