With the gradual depletion of global petroleum energy and the growing environmental problems,electric vehicles will be the main direction of research and development in the automotive field.The electric vehicle driven by hub motors have more advantages than other electric vehicles because of its characteristics of electrical integration,simplification of structure and rationalization of layout.In this paper,the hub permanent magnet synchronous motor is taken as the research object.The control strategy of PMSM is studied and a control model is built for simulation analysis.The problems related to the initial angle of resolver are studied.Firstly,the paper analyses the structure,characteristics,working principle and application of PMSM.And the hub PMSM is also introduced.In addition,the control strategies are studied.The vector control and flux weakening control are selected to control the motor in the whole speed range.Then the control strategy model and motor model are built based on Simulink simulation software to verifying the control performance by simulation.The results show that the vector control method can control motor stably,and the flux weakening control method plays an important role in the high speed range of motor.At the same time,the application layer control software is downloaded to the controller to test and verify.The experimental results are basically consistent with the simulation results,and the motor speed can be effectively controlled in the full speed range.Finally,one of the motor parameters—the initial angle of resolver were studied and the effects on the performance of the motor were analyzed through experiments.The test results show that if the deviation error is small,its influence on the performance of the motor is small and can be neglected.However,as the error increases,its influence on the performance of the motor is gradually increased.
