Research On Space Protection And Renewal Design Of Renli Village Based On Intangible Cultural Heritage

Traditional villages are gradually formed in the inheritance of long-term farming civilization,which condenses the epitome and memory of history and is the deepest place in Chinese traditional culture.With the rapid development of China’s economy and the acceleration of urbanization,traditional villages have been greatly affected,and a large number of traditional villages have gradually disappeared.At the same time,the precious intangible culture attached to traditional villages also faces the problem of lack of regional characteristics,difficulty in inheritance,and even demise.Faced with such a dilemma,more and more people are aware of the importance and urgency of protecting traditional villages and the non-material culture they carry.Traditional villages are a complex of physical forms and non-physical forms of cultural heritage.Village spaces are important material forms of intangible culture.Therefore,the protection and inheritance of intangible culture and the protection and renewal of traditional village space are mutually symbiotic relationships.This paper takes Renli Village,Jixi County,Anhui Province as an example to discuss the theory and practice of the protection and renewal of traditional village space under the vision of inheritance of intangible cultural heritage.Firstly,on the basis of clarifying the relationship between intangible cultural heritage and traditional village protection,we consider cultural ecology which possesses a composite structure of "natural-economic-society" as a research method of the Renli village system.It forms an overall study of the systematic observation of the village’s natural environment,economic environment,social and cultural environment and cultural and ecological changes.Next,combined with the theory of architectural space morphology,this paper summarizes three typical intangible cultural connotations: Feng Shui thought,group consciousness,patriarchal system,taking the village space form as the analytical object,forming the following progressive layer-by-layer analytical model: spatial components-the spatial form-the spatial function-the spatial meaning-the cultural connotation-the concept of residence,and the surface,line and point as the spatial structural elements,discusses the influence of the immaterial cultural connotation on the spatial form of the multi-level villages in Renli Village.Finally,using the cultural space integrating culture,space and time to analyze the intangible cultural elements of the village,the traditional living and production mode of Renli Village and the typical cultural space carrying traditional handicrafts,entertainment,temple fairs,sacrifices,traditional festivals and et al.were explored deeply to analyze the intangible cultural characteristics of Renli Village cultural space,and reveal its unique intangible cultural connotation.The return of intangible cultural heritage to the study of the cultural space of the village also combines the inheritance of intangible culture with the protection and renewal of traditional villages.Based on the understanding of the urgency of the protection and renewal design of Renli Village,this paper analyzes the existing problems of Renli Village cultural space from the perspectives of environment,society and culture.From the perspective of the inheritance of intangible culture,the principle of protection and renewal based on "live inheritance" is put forward,and the development mode of intangible culture with the focus of traditional handicraft rejuvenation and folk culture inheritance is constructed.Further re-creating cultural space as the main design direction,excavating the emotional and intangible cultural connotation,refining into design elements and injecting into the protection and renewal design of the village space,thus creating a place culture atmosphere that conforms to the nature of space,in order to achieve the "live inheritance" of the intangible culture in traditional villages.
