In practical engineering structures,such as bridges,offshore oil platforms,and transmission towers,etc.,they are often subjected to both vertical and horizontal laodings,i.e.,inclined loadings.Under the action of inclined loadings,the horizontal component of inclined loading will cause larger bending moment and deflection,whereas the existance of vertical load will further cause an additional bending moment.These two kinds of loadings will further increase the deflection of pile foundation,resulting in the so-called "P-? effect".Therefore,the bearing mechanism of pile foundations is more complex than those subjected only horizontal or vertical loading.In order to further reveal the bearing characteristics of pipe piles under inclined loadings in soft soil area,this paper studies the bearing characteristics of pipe piles under inclined loads using three-dimensional non-linear finite element software Abaqus.The main research contents are as follows:(1)A brief introduction is summarized and discussed from the viewpoints of research status at home and abroad,main research results,and existing problems on the issue of pile foundations subjected to inclined loads.(2)The finite element software Abaqus and its applicability in geotechnical engineering are briefly introduced.Several key problems in the process of numerical simulation analysis of pile-soil interaction are analyzed,including the selection of pile-soil constitutive model,the contact behavior between pile-soil interface,and the balance of in-situ stress,which can provide some basis for the following numerical simulation.(3)The field data of static load test and Abaqus numerical analysis results arecompared and analyzed,and the parameters of the finite element model are calibrated,which further verifies the feasibility of Abaqus software in the simulation of pile-soil interaction.(4)The bearing behavior of pipe piles subjected to inclined loadings in soft soil area is numerically simulated and analyzed.The effects of load inclination angle,diameter of pipe piles,thickness of pipe piles,pile length and preloading on the bearing behavior of pipe pile are discussed.(5)The numerical calculation model of pipe pile group subjected to inclined loadings is established by using Abaqus software.By changing the load inclination angle,the influence of load inclination angle on the vertical settlement,horizontal displacement,pile deflection and bending moment of pile group foundation is analyzed and discussed.
