With the gradual maturity of 5G technology and the strong support of “Internet plus”action,the traditional vehicle industry has undergone tremendous changes.Through the interaction between the vehicle and the surrounding environment,the Internet of Vehicle(Io V)provides the intelligent control of the vehicle,intelligent information service and intelligent traffic management,which has redefined the understanding of traditional vehicles.The emergence of the Io V has brought great convenience to people's lives,but the security problems caused by the intelligentization of vehicles have become the focus around the world.Key management mechanism,as the core technology of network and information security,plays an extremely important role in the Io V system.However,with the increase of smart vehicles and the ever-expanding scale of Io V,the key management faces greater difficulties and challenges.The centralized management mode of some traditional schemes makes the processing of a large number of real-time requests by the central institution become the bottleneck of the system.Moreover,the operation of certificate will bring more communication and computing costs.Therefore,the traditional key management scheme cannot meet the development needs of the Io V.For a large Io V system,the design of a secure and efficient key management mechanism has become the focus and difficulty of current research.The paper first proposes a key management mechanism for Io V with blockchain technology,which improves the management efficiency and security.In the paper,the blockchain technology is introduced into the Io V.By defining a blockchain network constructed by RSU nodes,the public key data is verified and added to the blockchain.By designing the smart contract,the automatic public key registration,update and revocation are realized.Based on the tamper-proof feature of blockchain technology,the user's public key and identity are bound,which reduces the system cost and effectively guarantees the security of the public key.Based on the distributed nature of the blockchain,the single point of failure problem of the centralized scheme is eliminated and the transparency and fairness of key management are improved.Based on the proposed key management architecture,the paper designs a mutual authenti-cation and key agreement protocol.To mitigate the Do S attacks,the protocol introduces a pre-authentication mechanism based on bivariate polynomial.To further reduce the computational cost of public key cryptographic transmission,a session key agreement protocol is proposed.Based on the symmetric property of bivariate polynomial,a pair of keys is generated for both parties of communication,thus ensuring the confidentiality of data interaction.Finally,the security of the proposed scheme is analyzed and proved by BAN logic.The results show that the proposed scheme meets the security requirements of the Io V.In addition,the proposed scheme is experimented and analyzed in terms of performance and compared with some traditional schemes.The results show that the scheme can effectively reduce the cost and has a good performance in computing,communication,storage overhead and delay.
