In recent years,the Internet of Things has been frequently mentioned as a hot topic.The Internet of Things is believed to trigger the fourth information revolution.With the advancement of sensors and wireless communication technologies,the Internet of Things has shown a rapid development trend.Internet of Things technology has been widely used in short-distance communication,but there are still technical shortcomings in long-distance communication,which have problems such as high power consumption,poor coverage of weak signal scenes,and inability to support massive connections.The latest NB-Io T communication technology from the 3GPP organization complements this shortcoming.Intelligent manhole cover is a concept put forward earlier,but it has not been promoted because of the limitations of remote Internet of Things technology.In this paper,based on the project,the intelligent manhole cover is selected as the research direction,and a lowpower intelligent manhole cover terminal based on NB-Io T is designed.Firstly,this paper studies related theories and designs the framework of intelligent manhole cover terminal according to the project requirements.It is mainly divided into five parts: sensor,NB-Io T communication module,microcontroller,power supply and antenna.And the selection and analysis of components is carried out.Secondly,the paper analyzes and designs the schematic diagram and PCB design for each part of the device,and the hardware design of the device is completed.Thirdly,this paper carries out the program code design of the device,including the main program design and the specific design of each subroutine,and introduces the method of software debugging.After downloading the program in the microcontroller,the entire device is tested and debugged.Then combined with the Io T platform,multiple devices are tested in actual application scenarios.Finally,this paper analyzes the wireless communication under the metal manhole cover,and optimizes the communication performance of the equipment antenna.Then the paper conducts a technical research on a high-gain omnidirectional microstrip antenna.The test results of the final completed Intelligent manhole cover terminal meet the project requirements.
