The development of science and technology has promoted the progress of military affairs.The integrated and intelligent individual combat equipment has greatly improved the single-soldier combat capability,but at the same time,it also puts forward higher requirements for the endurance and reliability of the power.Therefore,the design of highperformance power management chips is of great significance for the durable and stable use of individual combat equipment.Based on the characteristics of individual combat equipment,this paper designed an ultralow voltage differential linear regulator chip XD1989 with high efficiency,high precision,high power supply rejection ratio,fast transient response ability and low voltage and high current output.The dual power supply mode with internal function module and integrated NMOS regulator was adopted to supply power separately,which effectively reduced the leakage voltage and chip area,improved LDO efficiency and power rejection ratio.A folded cascode error amplifier and a dynamic zero compensation circuit were designed to ensure the sufficient loop gain of the system and the accuracy of the output voltage.The dynamic zero changed with the load current and kept track of the output poles of LDO,which could offset each other.Without reducing the loop bandwidth,the LDO was always equivalent to a single pole system and within the full load range.It had sufficient phase margin,ensured the stability of the system,and had fast transient response ability.The key module circuits of LDO benchmark,enabling,under voltage locking and good indication of output voltage were designed and analyzed.In this paper,XD1989 was designed based on 0.18?m BCD process,and the overall performance of each module and chip was simulated and verified by Spectre simulation tool of Cadence Company.The simulation results showed that the leakage voltage was only 82 m V at full load of 4A,the typical value of static current was 1.305 m A,the linear adjustment rate was only 0.00019%/V at the lowest output of 0.8V,and the load adjustment rate was only 0.115%/A at the output of 1.5V.When the load current jumped from 100 m A to 4A with 1A/?s,the maximum down impulse of output voltage was 93.3m V,and the recovery time was about 10?s.When the load current jumped from 4A to 100 m A with-1A/?s,the maximum up impulse of output voltage was 117 m V and the recovery time was about 10?s,which showed that the response speed was fast,the output overshoot was small and the stability was good.All the performance indexes of the key modules and the whole chip could meet the design requirements.
