With the reduction of engine noise and the popularity of new energy vehicles,road noise has become the main source of vehicle interior noise(below 400 Hz)in urban and suburban driving conditions.To meet the customer’s "light" and "quiet" sound quality requirements,the higher challenge to the virtual development of structural road noise has been proposed.During the development of the product digital prototype,the virtual road simulation method is used to complete the structural road noise optimization design,which can shorten the development cycle and reduce the product development cost.Firstly,the generation mechanism and transmission path of road noise are expounded.The conventional control method is introduced for the main transmission path.The simulation analysis method using acoustic-solid coupling can effectively control the structural noise problem in the early stage of design.The theoretical basis and application scenarios of modal tires are illustrated from an experimental point of view.Secondly,the modeling method of Trimmed body(TB)model is introduced.The modal analysis and related dynamic characteristics analysis of the acoustic-solid coupling TB body are carried out,and the model calibration is carried out in combination with the test.Then,using the digital scanner to scan the tire section to reverse the CAD model,using the finite element tool to establish the finite element model of the tire assembly,using the tire assembly test mode and transfer function as the parameters to optimize the target,through the optimization iteration,to obtain the tire The constitutive parameters of the material finally result in the tire FE model whose calibration result meets the target,and the degree of freedom is reduced.Finally,the whole vehicle acoustic-coupling model including tire,suspension and vehicle body is built.The PSD spectrum of the scanned road surface is used as the model input.The simulation of the interior noise of 60km/h working condition is carried out,combined with the simulation TPA and contribution.Optimization methods such as analysis optimize the structure of the problem frequency,and finally the constant noise in the vehicle meets the requirements.The road noise simulation and optimization method based on modal tires can find and solve the road noise related structural problems in the digital prototype stage,which can provide optimization direction guidance and quick verification for the later prototype adjustment.The development of road noise in enterprises plays a role in reducing costs and improving efficiency.
