With the development of national eonomy and road transportation, Residents along the road are undergoing more and more serious disadvantage of the road traffic noise. At a high-speed case, for the light transport of passenger car, tire/road noise become the principle source of the road traffic noise. When we study tire/road noise, first we should study the testing methods, the evaluation indicators and standards. But in our country, very little research has been done in this area.In this paper, based on the previous research, we set up four detailed rules and regulations of tire/road testing method.these are Coast-By method, Statistical Pass-By method, On-Board Sound Intensity method and Tire Impact method.Then we develop the On-Board Sound Intensity testing system. Also we pull in the principle of the cross spectral sound intensity measurement and adopt digital signal technology to analyze the time-domain data which is recorded real-timely.through on-site testing and laboratory test evaluation,the tire/road noise characteristics of different types of cement concrete pavement have been compared and evaluated.a traffic noise prediction model has been set up,through which road traffic noise along the road can been calculated of the light traffic.Analysis showed that:different types of cement concrete pavement noise exist differences.at the time of planning and designing, by choosing the appropriate texture of traditional cement concrete pavement or a new type of cement concrete pavement. The stress caused by traffic noise.can been effectively alleviated.
